Cardio-Metabolic Risk
Overview
The Cardio-Metabolic Risk (CMR) forecast dataset is a dataset of 100,000 adults, representing the U.S. population, simulated over 20 years using the Archimedes Model.
For a wide range of interventions related to cardio-metabolic risk, dozens of health outcomes, medical costs, and quality-of-life measures were calculated for each year, for each person.
This dataset contains a wealth of information especially relevant to health economics and outcomes researchers, policy researchers and decision makers, and anyone involved in performance measurement and improvement.
Users can explore the dataset via the Archimedes Outcomes Analyzer and:
- analyze the entire dataset
- compare costs of interventions
- change assumptions
- answer complex questions
The benefits of using the CMR Dataset
The Cardio-Metabolic Risk dataset enables researchers and healthcare decision makers to better understand the effects of a wide range of interventions related to cardio-metabolic risk in the U.S. population. It helps answer questions about efficacy, costs, and target markets. More...
CMR dataset specifications
The Cardio-Metabolic Risk dataset contains the results of 19 simulated controlled trials that compare current levels of care ("standard care") with 20 different interventions for managing obesity, blood pressure, cholesterol, hyperglycemia, coronary artery disease risk, and smoking. More...
